This 3 days Queen Elizabeth National park takes you to Uganda’s second largest national park with great views of wildlife and bird species. The major activities include game drives giving you spectacular views of herds of elephants, Uganda kobs, warthogs, leopard, African lion, and Buffalos among others. A launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel exposes you to 611 bird species, huge Nile crocodiles and hundreds of Hippos.

Queen Elizabeth National Park is compacted by the diverse habitats differing from moist semi-deciduous forests of Maramagambo forest sharpening to the rolling grasslands of the crater areas and the low-lying swamps beneath the hills laying charcoal under the swallow moon where feeble rays struggle to shine through the broken layers of cloud opening tightly to the life giving Lake Edward and Lake George.

Day 1: Departure from Kampala/Entebbe 

Our driver(s) will pick you up for your 3 days gorilla trekking safari trip at 7.00am, from your hotel/ residence and we shall have a brief stop-over at the Uganda – Equator for some photo taking for your memory adventure moments, have simple drinks with snacks and then back to our way highway route through Masaka to Mbarara town for our lunch and resting at some of hug-outs either  Agip motel or Igongo.

From Mbarara we drive to southwest to the Western Rift Valley. We mostly reach late in the evening at Queen Elizabeth, check into your safari lodge to rest preparing for next day long awaited tour.


Day 2: Day of Game drive & Bird Watching

Early morning, will have a heavy breakfast, have a view of the early morning sun rise ,as we prepare for a game drive encounter where you will see animals like hippos go back to the water, hyenas go back to their dens. Our experienced guide will have a good idea of where the lions are hiding and you might spot out the leopard too, the Giraffes, warthogs and many more.

Have an experience to see one of the largest concentration of hippos and numerous crocodiles, buffalos, among others along Kazinga Channel. More so, this Channel attracts a variety of animals and bird species. Get ready after the boat ride to experience the salt mining at Lake Katwe for 1 hour with the local people, See African women getting into the salty ponds locally to extract Salt. Well, they have no option other than to use thrilling methods for a survival which sometimes costs their lives.

After your game drive,  head back to the lodge for your lunch and prepare for the Kazinga channel boat ride and a primate walk to Kyambura Gorge, the next morning.


Day 3: Primate Walk, then return back to Kampala / to the Airport

Early morning we shall have a  heavy breakfast and then prepare for a guided primate walk along Kyambura Gorge in search for the habituated chimpanzee. These friends of man are believed to have a close resemblence to humans biologically in their D.N.A make up, their incredible jungle vocals, hooting, screaming, grunting and drumming in the dead wildeess will ease track of these African primate species. After encountering with these lost friend of man, retire back from your short walk in the wildeess a place lost in the dead,

Then Head back to prepare and drive back to Kampala before 6pm to your hotel or for your departure
